One Number, Two Troops
About Us
Located in Yardley, PA, Troop 30 offers the Scouts BSA experience to both boys (Troop 30B) and girls (Troop 30G). Both Troops are Scout-led and plan activities that appeal to a range of different interests from high-adventure outings, to exploring historical sites and landmarks, to hands-on learning of new skills. Scouts develop academic skills, self confidence, ethics, and leadership skills all while having fun! Each Scout is encouraged to challenge him or herself both physically and mentally. We provide a safe, time tested environment for learning, being prepared and excelling in a variety of skills. Troop 30 strives to create an inclusive environment with exciting, fun opportunity and lots of adventure.
Troop 30B and Troop 30 G are part of the Tamanend District of the Washington Crossing Council. Both Troops are chartered by Woodside Presbyterian Church.

At our Fall Court of Honor 58 Scouts, earned 208 Merit Badges of 58 different types! Well done, Scouts! That's a lot of work since Spring!
Get Ready for a Summer!
This year Troop 30B and 30G will be attending camp at Resica Falls in July. A new experience for our troop, but one that promises lots of adventure with new merit badge offerings, an ATV program, and the High Five Adventure club for our older scouts. More information on their offerings can be found here.
In addition to the traditional summer camp offerings, some of Troop 30B will be attending Sea Base for High Adventure in Summer 2025.
